This is a low profile PCI 4-port serial (16550) I/O card. A new PCI card form factor standard made for space constrained system designs. It improves I/O access speed up to 8 times faster than existing ISA-bus serial ports; reduces CPU load and improves system performance dramatically. IRQ sharing feature eliminates IRQ conflicts.
